Impulsive purchase
Saw this lovely little Nespresso Pixie in BIC camera yesterday. It had a 30% discount (¥10,000 off), and Eiko likes George, so we both decided to get it. Capsules work out at about ¥70 each, which is not that cheap but it makes perfect coffee every time. Got a great milk frother with it too. Learnt the phase 衝動買い (shodokai) yesterday in my Japanese class, means impulsive purchase.
